自1990年起由Taka Hirohama作為樂隊領班，Saturday Night Jazz Orchestra (SNJO) 一直滋養及積極發展本地爵士大樂隊文化。SNJO致力演奏正宗搖擺爵士大樂隊風格，以 Count Basie、Duke Ellington、Benny Goodman及Glenn Miller的風格為藍本。

SNJO亦活躍於多個音樂節，如香港國際爵士音樂節、爵士世界系列、香港夏季爵士音樂節，並曾遠赴上海世博會香港週及台北演出。他們同時喜愛與年輕一代音樂人合作，如創辦香港青年爵士樂團、KongU Big Band、Big Band Jazz Academy等。

Led by Taka Hirohama since 1990, Saturday Night Jazz Orchestra (SNJO) has become an established big band brand in Hong Kong who kept developing and nurturing Big Band Jazz culture in town. SNJO focuses on playing authentic swing big band style referencing Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller‘s.

SNJO has actively participated in the HK International Jazz Festival, Jazz World Series, HK Summer Jazz Festival and also overseas Shanghai Expo for Hong Kong Week, and performed in Taipei. They are also keen on working with local youth musicians, such as started the Hong Kong Youth Jazz Orchestra, KongU Big Band, Big Band Jazz Academy and more projects.
